A New Name for a New Chapter
We’re excited to share that the Lahontan Audubon Society has completed the process to change our name to better reflect our mission and the vibrant birding community we serve. Our new name, Northwest Nevada Bird Alliance, highlights birds, Nevada’s unique habitats, and our commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive community for all who care about wildlife. This change marks an important step forward as we continue our 60-year tradition of education, habitat conservation, and community engagement throughout Northern Nevada.
