Description:
Davis Creek Regional Park is open again following the Davis Fire of September 2024. It is a great location to see our local forest birds including woodpeckers, nuthatches, and finches. It also attracts a variety of migrating songbirds, and we’ll hope to see Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Nashville Warbler, Black-headed Grosbeak, Western Tanager, Calliope Hummingbird, Dusky Flycatcher, and others. This is a walk around Davis Creek Park Pond with some short forays into the surrounding forest habitat.
Members will receive notice of field trip registration via email. Photo: Calliope Hummingbird by John Koehm
