Difficulty: 3-4 miles easy - level dirt trail.

Description:
This park and trails run along the Carson River and the Empire Ranch Golf Course area. It’s a great place to find Waterfowl, Hawks, Shrike, Phoebes, Waders, Kingfisher, Wrens, and Sparrows. There is a possibility of finding early wintering birds like Merlin and Prairie Falcon.
