May Arboretum Society- Birds in the Garden Walk

Join us and experience an early morning walk exploring the varied habitat in and around the Wilbur D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden.

With our guide, Lauren Whitenack, from the Northwest Nevada Bird Alliance, you’ll observe different bird species and other wildlife. The Arboretum has more than 13 acres of wetlands, woodlands and gardens, which make for a great opportunity to view the plethora of birds that call this home.

Bring your binoculars! If you need to borrow binoculars, please let us know during registration checkout so we know how many extras to bring.

Mark your calendars for the first Sunday of each month through November 5th. Enjoy a walk, take in beautiful scenery and wildlife and experience changes in the Arboretum through the seasons.

Registration fee is $5, Free to MAS and LAS Members.
