About the event
The Northwest Nevada Bird Alliance meets on the the 4th Tuesdays of most months to present talks by guest speakers. This month, with the Thanksgiving holiday so close, our meeting will be a virtual event on zoom. The zoom link is provided with registration.
November Program: Adventures in Bird Photography
Speaker: Bruce Blackadar
Bruce will be sharing some of his best and favorite bird photos from Reno and around the world, along with stories about the birds and the photography.
About Bruce: Bruce Blackadar is a retired UNR Professor of Mathematics. He is a long-time birdwatcher and photographer, and has been doing more serious bird photography for about the last 20 years since he finally had the right equipment to take decent bird photos. One of the perks of an academic job is the opportunity to travel; he has lived in Europe and photographed birds in many places around the world. He is a board member of the NNBA.
