Tahoe Meadows Nature Trail

Difficulty: 2 miles easy to medium; maintained trail with elevation change (~300ft)

Leader: Jeff Bleam

When: Friday, July 31, 2026, 7:00 am (~3 hrs)

Description:

We will start with the Nature Loop and head up to the campground at the east end of the area.  We should see Warblers, Towhees including Green-tailed, Raptors, Flycatchers, Bluebirds, Sapsuckers, and Woodpeckers.  Lincoln’s Sparrows nest in the meadows as well as Williamson’s Sapsuckers in the surrounding Conifers plus there is a possibility of seeing Crossbills, Pine Grosbeaks, and Solitaire.
