About the event
Learn about the many different birds that call the wetlands home. Learn how to find and identify local species like herons, egrets, rails, and ducks by sight and sound. Join us for an optional field trip to a local birding hotspot along with an experienced guide for an opportunity to observe these birds in person and practice your birding skills.
Notes: Transportation to the field trip is not included. Please pack accordingly for the field trip by bringing snacks, food, water, sun protection, layers for Nevada weather, and any other items that will help you feel comfortable for the day. Recommended to bring binoculars, if available. Families are welcome, everyone must register.
